Position Summary:

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will provide an exceptional experience to all clients and candidates, supporting team members through all phases of the recruiting process. He/she will have knack for building customer relationships and a passion for help to develop innovative solutions to solve talent acquisition challenges.

Essential Job Functions

  • Assist the Talent Acquisition Manager to develop and execute an implementation plan for the talent acquisition strategy.
  • Assists the Talent Acquisition Manger in all aspects of recruiting to include, sourcing and conducting initial phone screen interviews.
  • Coordinates with hiring manages to determine best recruiting process for each position.
  • Acts as liaison with recruiting agencies.
  • Extends verbal and written contingent job offers.
  • Tracks all recruiting activity and develops reports to inform in effective implementation of the talent acquisition strategy.
  • Maintains the applicant tracking software to ensure support organizational workforce planning, e.g., validating that positions are budgeted
  • Assist the Talent Acquisition Manger is partnering with hiring managers’ leaders to develop hiring forecasts and ensuring all recruiting processes are aligned with organizational and client needs. needs.
  • Perform talent acquisition administrative duties as assigned, e.g., background checks
  • Other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience:

High school diploma with two years of experiene as a recruitment coordinator or recruiter

Required Licenses or Certifications:
Valid state driver's license.

Required Knowledge of:

  • General principles, practices, and procedures of customer service.
  • Basic understanding of Human Resources software to include applicant tracking.
  • Basic project management and project control principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Methods and techniques of data collection, research, and report preparation.
  • Principles of business letter writing and basic report preparation.
  • English usage, spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
  • Modern office procedures, methods, and equipment including computers and computer applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, and financial databases.
  • Techniques to work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, and adjust to changing priorities.

Required Skills in:

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong professional relationships and establish one’s self as a trust business partner
  • Superb customer focus, attention to detail, and organization skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, quickly changing environment.
  • Utilizing personal computer software programs affecting assigned work and in compiling and preparing a wide range of documents, spreadsheets and reports.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with other department staff, management, vendors, outside agencies, community groups and the general public.
  • Interpreting policies and procedures sufficient to administer, discuss, resolve, and explain them to staff and other constituencies.
  • Excellent understanding of Microsoft Office to include Excel, Word, Outlook and SharePoint.
  • Providing assistance to managers in administering programs and projects.
  • Collecting, evaluating, and interpreting information and data from multiple sources.
  • Maintaining good customer relations with positive customer service orientation.
  • Working cooperatively with other departments and outside agencies.
