Right now, we are looking for Night Custodial Services Supervisor to ensure that our facilities look their best. 

Salary Range: $18.00-$19.23/HR

The Night Custodial Services Supervisor is responsible for maintaining and improving the condition of Goodwill of the Olympics and Rainier Region's (GORR) facilities operating throughout Washington.

The Supervisor performs professional duties in supervising, coordinating, and managing the operations of the Custodial Services department as well as being an expert in several trade fields, capable of organizing & executing complex projects involving multiple organizations and contractors.

This position is responsible for the scheduling & quality control of all Goodwill custodial needs both internal and external. The Supervisor also performs regular facility audits to establish a comprehensive cleaning program for the retail, operations, and managed real estate departments.

A comprehensive training & safety program for all employees of the Custodial Services department is to be designed & executed by the Facilities Services Supervisor. This role is also responsible for the health and COVID-19 screening of their crew each night. 

Principal Functions/Responsibilities:  

  • Works directly with the Facilities Manager to manage the ongoing custodial maintenance of Goodwill stores and Vocational centers.
  • Respond to customer concerns (24 hour expected response time to all customer communications).
  • Responsible for meeting productivity objectives and managing his/her time effectively & employee labor.
  • Scheduling daily tasks for themselves and all the Custodial Services employees
  • Follows safe work practices.
  • Oversees all custodial projects including, but not limited to: carpet cleaning, window washing, retail floor care of differing types and condition, after-hour janitorial crews, day porter service, pressure washing, construction clean-up, general trash-out service.
  • Execute a comprehensive safety program
  • Responsible for department staffing and corrective actions. As well as performance reviews.
  • Purchases and inventories all supplies required for the duties of the department.

  Qualifications:  

  •  3 years experience in custodial or related field strongly preferred.
  • Building codes, rules and safety regulations.
  • Extensive custodial, janitorial, carpet cleaning, & window washing skills and knowledge.
  • Knowledge and experience with operating mechanical tools, autoscrubbers, side-by-side, truck-mount & portable carpet cleaners, finish applicators, burnishers, upright & backpack vacuums, AND other trade specific equipment.
  • Maintains effective working relationships with customers and co-workers and a strong desire to surpass expectations.
  • Is organized and meets deadlines.
  • Punctual and has regular attendance.
  • WA State Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
